Riverwest Jackpot Gallery 825 E. Center St., Milwaukee
Chick Darrow's Fun Antiques was opened by Chick Darrow, a former vaudevillian who invented the balloon act (pictured with his invention "the balloon sculpture.") Fun Antiques opened in New York City on the upper east side in 1962. The shop attracted tourists, locals, international customers, and celebrities for 40 years before closing, only to reopen as part of Riverwest Jackpot Gallery in Milwaukee in 2015. George Darrow, Chick's son, runs Fun Antiques and is one of four artists whose original artwork is featured at the Gallery. Paintings, vintage clothing, and antique toys and collectibles are all featured in this eclectic Riverwest gallery.
